Dont' really understand your question, but I'll have a go answering it anyway...
What's wrong with an Access Point and a laptop computer running Congo client software? Is that not a wireless client? Or RVI with Apple Airport express to get wireless back to Cat5?
Kind regards
Just from the illustration in the manual, it looks like computer would have to be connected to the Congo via CAT5. Can I just hook a wireless router up to the Congo, then run the client software on the a laptop?
Thanks :)

It is posible.
I am using Congo Client on my Laptop wireless.
But the setup in SETUP must be the same.
Ask ETC for the Setup
I was hoping someone at ETC would see this and post a solution for a setup of this kind :)
Kind regards,
Ethan
Patience...I bet someone in kind technical services will respond tomorrow, or sometime during the early week (as it is the weekend, after all). They are very good about that :)

I have been using a wireless router with my Congo for some time for client purposes, works just fine. I even have used the wireless router to transmit Ethernet to run a media server over ArtNet, have never had any problems.
Hi Ethan,
It is possible to run client wirelessly by connecting a wireless access point or router to your network and making sure that the computer with the client dongle is configured to be in the same IP scheme as the console. Wireless ethernet connections are however inherently unstable and as such, we do not recommend that you use a wireless client for show critical applications.
This setup is very similar to the iRFR setup (Documented Here) except instead of using an iPod/iPad/iPhone, you are using a computer. I would recommend a read of the iRFR wiki to familiarize yourself with the necessary settings.
The other "gotcha" is that both the console and client computer must be running the same version of software.
I hope this helps,
I think I know of one missing ingredient: the dongle. Did one come with the console, or was I supposed to ask for one?
Kind regards,
-Ethan
