16bit control

Hi

16bit control channel is changing only to Focus (pan/Tilt).
To Gobo rot, Fine channel is not calculated mostly.
Only Pan/Tilt is changed even if it changes Setting"Course/Fine 16 bit control."
These are troubled very much, when Media Server is used.
Is change possible?

Best regards,

Kani

  • hello,

in the template, you can choose fine step default is 4 but if you set 1, you have got best sensibility.

If parameter is LTP16, congo control it in 16 bit.

in the setup if you tick  "Course/Fine 16 bit control." you are in 8 bit, less precision in fact. Do not tick this parameter.

  • As standard, the encoders on Congo accelerate - move them quickly and you get coarse control, slowly and you get fine control.

The Coarse/Fine 16-bit control option makes the encoders usually 'Coarse', but switch to 'Fine' when you hold down the Wheel key.

It's up to you which method you prefer.

In the template you can set the smallest possible step - this defaults to 4 as most "16-bit" parameters are actually closer to 12 or 14-bit.
Media Servers are the main exception to this, so I'd recommend changing the fine step size to 1 in Media Server templates.

  • Hi

    I also changed "Fine Step" with 0, 1, 2, and 3.
At this time, change was seen only for 0.
(A parameter did not move by the encoder.) Others had no change.

These are all looking at the DMX numerical value of DMXTER.

     Best regards

  • Hi

As for this phenomenon, only CongoJr happens.

At Congo, it operates by 1decimal.

    Please change softwear.

    Best regards,

    Kani
