What IP settings do you have for each?

There are three IP settings for the Congo Console and the "Datagate":

• IP Address
• Subnet Mask
• Gateway IP

A subnet mask of 255.255.255.255 will never work, you usually want "255.255.0.0"

Then in the Congo Art Net settings you want either "255.255.255.255" or "10.255.255.255" as the Artnet Address.
- The first number is either 255 or should match the first number in the IP address of the Datagate.

Congo sends broadcast Art Net 1 for maximum compatibility.

Secondly, Art Net universes count from 0-0, Congo Universes count from 1. Confirm that you're actually sending the universe you want.
- By default, to patch to Art Net universe 0-0 you must patch to Congo Universe 1.

Unfortunately I can't really help you much with the Datagate end, I've never used one of those.

If I understand correctly, the IP address of Datagate must begin with the same address as the address of artnet (10.XXX or 255.XXX)

currently on the console :
Console IP: 10.101.81.101
subnet mask: 255.255.0.0
Gateway: 10.101.81.101

Should i put the ip in automatic? or dhcp?

on the Datagate:
IP: 10.101.50.101
subnet mask: 255.255.0.0

artnet adress: 255.255.255.255
I should try to 10,255,255,255?

What is hard is that you restart each time the console, and there is nothing to know if the problem comes from the console or Datagate

Xavier, in the configuration you described, you would most likely want the Artnet broadcast address to be 10.255.255.255.

Assuming the datagate also does Artnet version 2 that should work for you.
