Augment3D

I only saw the introduction video of augment 3d so I don't have a hands on experience but I got a few questions .

Seeing that it is also a kind of visualizer I wonder how this works on a console because the visualizers I have at home on my Mac all need a dedicated video card that can run really hot.

So does the Ion have a graphics card build in capable to do this and won't it get really hot.And what about the display port does this mean I need a monitor with the same connector.

Also about importing your own models i suppose this is only possible when a pc is connected to the Ion and not when you use a usb stick with the file on it?

Hope someone can shed a light on this.

    • This does work on an Ion with a display port connector, but yes, depending on complexity of the model this cam be quite hard work for the console.
    • The display port is not really the reason why Augment3d would work on a console. But it is an indicator for the type of graphics card used.
    • You can import a model from a USB stick directly into the console.
