VW Plug in wont load

Hi Andrew,

It would seem that you are attempting to install the VW 2019 version of the plug-in. We're able to deduce that from the cryptic Vectorworks versioning shown in your screenshot: Compiled for 24.0.0 = 2019.

Can you try the VW 2020 plug-in and see if it works for you? It should be in the same big zip file you downloaded.

OK I have found the 2020. The instructions say not to unpack the Zip so I followed that.

OK so it seemed to load. No dialogue box / alert.  But

The plug in does not appear in the third party plug-in tab and it is not in the Spotlight tab either.

really cant see what Im doing wrong here.  Thnaks again for the assistance.

It is a bit confusing for sure. You should unpack the first zip that downloads that includes the 4 .zip files that are each version (2019 and 2020 Mac and PC). You should not unpack those 4 versioned files.

Now I think you are actually past that point if you followed that part and have installed it successfully to Vectorworks. It does not display on the Third Party Tab after installation. In order for it to appear in the Spotlight menu, you need to edit your workspace to add it as described on Page 5 of the Installation Guide.
