Move and update a full bar.

Question

So, I have a fixed rig that the only change is the trim hight. 
 How do I easiest get my fixtures fixed to a bar and then move them up and down with the knowledge of the bars height. I do not need it to move live (maybe some day) but pre-show change trim of the bars in A3D so I can use things like XYZ focus pallets.

If you want to manually control the position you patch a "Scenic Element Moveable" and then nest your lights and electric under that object. 
 If you're looking to automate that tracking, many of us use a piece of software called LightStrike ( https://www.dsmurfin.co.uk/lightstrike ) though there are other options like custom TouchDesigner patches depending on what your automation system can output.
