Can't import instruments with duplicate information from Vectorworks

This is not currently supported.  The current work around is to patch each fixture with a unique "bogus" address - pick some Universe you aren't using for all of the duplicate fixtures in each channel.  Import them into Eos then remove those addresses.

Seems strange that it's not supported, but at least there's a solution.  Thanks for the quick reply.

When two Devices have the same Channel and Address, the import is supposed to continue, but remove the duplicate address from one of them.  Maybe something is going wrong there.

Would you be willing to share an example Vectorworks file and point out the duplicates?

Sure, here's an example of what's going wrong.  The positions here are copied directly out of my main file.  When I try to export this into Augment3d, it drops all the instruments with the same info (roughly half).

Hm, I might be doing something wrong?  I can't seem to upload the file.  Dragging and dropping gives me the "Uploading" message and a percentage, but then when it completes I don't see anything?  Here's a Google Drive link instead:

That link worked great.  It turns out this feature was implemented in v3.0.0 differently than I had expected - sorry for the mix-up.  Seth's solution is the best one in v3.0.0  I do hope that in a future version we'll handle this case better, at least to drop the duplicate address without dropping the complete Device.
