I could focus fixture beam by clicking on the fixture and then clicking or moving where I wanted it, but now I cannot. Is there a setting I have turned off or pressed a wrong key?

You should be able to focus a moving light in Live by selecting it, then either long-clicking or shift+clicking in the scene.
You can also enable Focus Handles
that give you a red dot to drag around and focus:
Some objects may not be "focusable" depending on this setting in the Inspector:
Sorry, I fogot to say that the fixture is not a moving head but a static. I am in the Aug3d patch and I have been able to select the fixture and be able to focus the beam by mouse clicking on where I wanted it focused, but now I have lost this ability. I must have done something to turn this ability off.
If you Edit your Augment3d scene, double check that you didn't set Ground (4) to "Never Focus": It should be "Selective Focus" as in my Bathroom Mirror example above.
If that's not the issue, could you save your showfile and post it here so that we can take a look at it and see if we can recreate the issue?
I have uploaded my showfile with this problem. Any help will be appreciated.Skeleton setup 2020-12-17 17-36-18.esf3d
Please note this is a static fixture problem not a moving head one. Thanks.
Hi Matt, I have uploaded the showfile under a new post of
If you could take a look at it I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
Rog
to focus conventionals you have to be in patch and then you can focus your static lights with a long click
Hi Roger, I am able to focus channels 1, 2, and 61 with your showfile. As you know, it's done in Patch, with the Augment3d tab showing. Sometimes I get there by typing Tab+12 followed by Tab+38. The command line reads "Patch Channel".
Just double-checking, when you select Channel 1 the fixture body has a gold outline, and the beam is visualized, correct?
I'm finding that your Forestage Floor is focusable, but your Ground is not.
Not sure if you might want to change that.
Thank you Ueliriegg and Matt. Long click does it. Still learning the Aug3D new actions :-).
All sorted by a long click!!
Thanks Matt. Yes the stage floor is above ground level on purpose. A long mouse click was the answer - I just forgot (senior moment! :-).
