Import an jpeg image-Backdrop?

Trying to build my stage, and I am to the point of our permanently displayed backdrop. Can I import an jpeg or png image and overlay it on a wall or something to incorporate it into the augment3d stage?

This isn't currently possible. If you want to color items, or apply textures to them you will need to draw your model in a third party application such as Vectorworks, and then import it.
