Random channels missing their addresses after A3d import even though all fixtures have addresses in VW

This appears likely to be a bug. Could you share (either post or PM me) the file you started with before doing the VW import so I can confirm it is the same issue?

Note that 126 and 581 are patch conflicts and not related to the possible issue with the others.

Channels 126 and 524 both want to start at 1/114
Channel 581 wants to be 9/289-294 but channel 582 is set at 9/293 causing the overlap to pull the addresses away from 581

thank you for catching the overlap, yes that is a different issue, easily solved. Attached is the show file I started from that resulted in the missing dimmers. When this initially happened, I believe I unpatched everything, then imported from VW, and the above channels were missing their dimmer. However, I am not able to recreate the issue now with that same file. If I take the "misssing dimmers" Eos file attached above, unpatch everything, reimport from the VW file, I still do get the missing dimmers on chs such as 76-78, 84, 89-90, etc. 

This is a bug. It is being tracked as EOS-52096

Hi...has this bug been fixed or still on the docket?  I'm still having issues in 3.1 where when I import a .a3d file into a blank Eos file, only some of the imported fixtures bring in their addresses and others are blank. Attached is an .a3d file where that issue is occurring.

We thought we had fixed this in 3.1.0. Looking at the export alone, I see that channels 36 and  75-78 do not contain addresses and are expected to be blank. If I clear the device mapping in Eos' import options and import your file, all of the other channels have addresses (as dimmers) so I suspect there is likely a mode difference that is causing an overlap of addresses. Could you share which mode each fixture is supposed to be in?

I'm an idiot. Yes it was a mode problem. My addresses in VW had not left enough room for what would be required once in Eos. Apologies.
