Node vs. Group Objects in Hierarchy

I’m working on creating some best practices when working with a great deal of Scenic Objects in an Augment3d Showfile. I’m curious as to peoples thoughts of using Node Objects vs. Group Objects. From what I have read in the support articles and testing various scenarios, the only real difference is that a Group Object can’t scale while a Node Object is Scalable. Nested objects seem to respond the same way with either a Group or Node Object as the parent object type.
