Sneak + long click doesn't go slow

Question

3.1.5 Ti, Nomad 
 in the command line i have Chan 1 Sneak and then i do a long click in A3D for the click to focus functionality. i would expect the channel to move in the Sneak Time, but it moves instantly. 
 this is independent of XYZ-Format (which i think is correct).

I don't think that this has ever worked like this. I just bounced all of the way back to 3.0.0 and haven't seen that command work because it doesn't interact with the command line on the click to focus outside of channel selection. 
 This would be a good feature request.
