3D image props in Augment3d

Could you export the image and bring it into Augment3d as a custom material?

Here is a stock image I have edited with a transparent background, and how that applies as a texture on a cube, and a 2d plane object in Augment3d: 

This is expected behavior as the material function does not currently support transparency. It appears the program you used to create the transparency has black as the pixel color, which is what fills out the rest of the image.

I will look into updating tha materials article to help make that clear.

Apologies I didn't understand that the transparency wrapping was the particular feature you are looking for.

I'm basically trying to imitate the 'image prop" feature of VW. Where you basically tell a 2d shape to be the cutout of an image.  See below, the first image is in wireframe, and the second is rendered.  Both using the same image file as above:
