Can I import a DWG into Augment3D

Question

I am trying to import a Autocad DWG model someone shared with me of the theatre I work in into Augment. Not sure how to do this any help is greatly appreciated.

DWG is a proprietary format Augment3d can't import. There is the interchange format dxf which A3d will read, with mixed results.

 The two old 3D file formats obj and 3ds will probably work, but because they're older formats they just don't support all the new shiny features more modern formats like DAE or glTF would.
