Hello all

my question is in regards to the mind the gap set and theatre used in the EOS training. I can not seem to find the 3D to import into the console. Where am I not looking?I found the one that show up in the preview app but not the one for upload.
using nomad on Mac Studio with two touch screens and a monitor, the monitor is set up as low res on the same machine as EOS.
thank you in advance for any help you may be able to offer

  • Hi, I'm also having a bit of an issue with this. I can load the Level 3 or 4 show file that has the A3D built in, but when it loads none of the fixtures are present. They are in the patch but don't have any position data in the 3d model. Is the show file designed that way or am I being a plonker?

I can load other demo files, such as the pros arch from the website and they load fine with all fixtures in place and working.

I've redownloaded the learning zip just in case it was a corrupt file but same issue.

    Running Nomad 3.2.12 on Mac.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm even happy to input the data manually as long as I can get something that I can see what I'm doing.

    Many thanks

    Tom

  • The Fixtures information(X,Y,Z) for A3D lives in Patch.
So you need that information from the other showfile as well.

Eighter Merge it in or do it yourself, for learning purposes.

  • Hi Mathilda,

I've found where the information goes, but its not there. I've loaded all 5 of the files in the learning package zip to see if the info is in one of the files that I could merge into another, but none of them seem to have it.

    I've tried:

Eos Family Patch Only 2019-07-08 12-10-11

    Eos Family v3.1 Level 1 Complete 2021-11-02 08-05-27.esf2

    Eos Family v3.1 Level 2 Complete 2021-11-02 08-06-44.esf2

    Eos Family v3.1 Level 3 Complete 2021-11-02 08-07-21.esf3d

    Eos Family v3.1 Level 4 Complete 2021-11-02 08-07-49.esf3d

    Opening the show, not merging.

Right, I downloaded the showfile for the Expert A3D lesson and all the position data is in there. Merged. Working.

Not sure if that's what I was suppose to do but I've found a workaround.

  • The original Learning Files were built without A3D. So using the dedicated A3D Lesson-File is the right way to go.
