Sketchup import problem

This is my sketchup-file upload via online webviewer... just to exluded ther´s a strange setting in our Sketchup-software.

When I import it to Augumented 3D it looks like this... there´s some lighting in wrong position.

I spoke to the colleague who made the file and he worked with one side and then mirrored the object. Then he continued drawing and mirroring them again.

Has anyone come across this and have any tips on a solution that some part from Sketchup is not in position... without asking him to redo the drawing. We have struggled to get to the point where we have reduced the size of his drawings to about 60% of the original so they are more manageable. So a question of doing it "right" so this is not happening is not an option. ;)

Can we get him to draw in a different way in the future is a possibility. Unless it's a bug in Augmented how it loads things from Sketchup.

  • It looks like Sketchup change how the value for rotated object and how they save the value for the rotateted/mirrored objects.

I don´t know if the old one is 0-360degree and know they use -180 to 180 degree. Maybee Augumented only read the old one and not how Sketchup is saving the value now.

Unfortunality it´s hard to found a solution to save my Sketchup in an old version so Augumented can read this correct. I need to see on monday if our Sketchup 2024 PRO can save in older versions...

  • Looks like it´s not either 0-360 or -180 to 180 problem. It´s how my collegues works with mirrored objects in SketchUp. :(

Saved my SketchUp to SU2013, still had same issue with mirrored objects.
