OSC Router and Broadcast

Hey,

I have a successful OSC setup with EOS, RPU and QLab following the guidelines on the forums. Looking to expand this now to multiple iPods/iPads on stage. I have set the EOS/RPU to broadcast (10.101.255.255). I have also brought the Qlab machine into the EOS range (it was previously set to 10.0.1.35 as in the OSC example setup). My ipad works fine but I loose all OSC to QLab. Nothing at all appears in the OSC router window.

Has anyone had success with broadcast and OSC router?

OSC router is a way to get around some computers/devices not responding to broadcast. If you set up the Qlab machine with osc router you should be able to point the EOS at that machine and then using osc router send the iPad/ipods forwarded messages. I have had multiple iPads get osc using broadcast without osc router but some operating systems/software don't respond to it.
