I am attempting to satisfy the MIDI requests of both Audio and Projections. Projections would like MSC but audio wants me to send them MIDI Raw notes but they don't want to receive all the MSC data. They are nervous that all the commands going through their system could cause problems. I'm working on an EOS Ti (v2.3.1.9) with a show control gateway. Currently I'm sending MIDI straight out of the desk to both Audio and Projections and receiving SMPTE through the gateway.
Is there a way to route the MIDI raw commands through only the show control gateway without interrupting the MSC going out? Basically I want to assign the MIDI raw a group ID that matches the gateway and the MSC a group ID that matches the consoles output but I don't think that is possible.
I also honestly don't understand MIDI that well so I'm sure there is a better solution?
