Help with Relay Out on Remote Trigger Port

Is your question about wiring the contact within the ion or within the fogger?

A little bit of both. I'm looking for the best practice in wiring it up. I was figuring that I'd need a relay module wired to the conductors of the switch wire and then wiring the console to the contacts on the relay? Although I saw some where though that you could wire the console's relay to the contact on the foggers switch. I guess looking for the easiest set up.

It really depends what the fogger needs--If the fogger truly needs a contact you should be able to take scrap wire and close the loop on the fogger to verify this is the case. If that works then you can literally take the common pin and the N/O pin from the remote trigger on the Ion and wire that in to the fogger.

That's what I was thinking/hoping I could do. I just needed some one smarter than me to tell me everything would be OK lol.

Before doing this make sure to get a voltmeter and verify what voltage is across that switch. I've seen several cheap foggers that use 120VAC line voltage across the remote switch. If that's how yours works, then neither the DB15 connector nor the relay in the console are rated appropriately. You would need a separate relay with contacts rated for the voltage and current of that switch input.
