  • I don't think these are supported yet.
  • hello,
but...with nomad system..How can I fix the problem? this year I sold 12 nomad system on tv studio...is it a strange situation, because wheels , usually, change favors the family of parameters; why not for effect editing?

  • I will poke around and see if I can come up with a system that works over OSC. Part of the issue is how to select the fx that you want to change. We may be able to get around this by using some of the new fader configuration tool in v2.4 software. Where does the fx data come from that you want to change attributes of? Is it in cues, subs, live manual....
  • Hi Andrew,

first problem is deforming a effect circle/square in correct working area..why be so difficult OSC commands for SHAPE and/or AXIS??
    Thank you for your interest!

  • Giovanni,

Specific effect controls have not been defined in the OSC specification at this time. I am looking at using the existing command line tools of osc to see if I can get around it. The current OSC specification is a first pass. It will grow over the years but there are many other parts of the console that take a higher place on the list of what needs to be done.
  • Hi Andrew,

ok for OSC I see...but in standard NOMAD set-up (for me) Puk, Wing 2x10, and 23" touch screen, how can I make changes to the effects without console? ok for scale no problem, but for AXIS? Do you have suggestions?

  • Both Scale and Axis have soft keys once you have selected the fx on the command line. If you want to change the value on just one of the lights running the fx tab 8(effect channels) gives you a table of the fx running on each channel and (if you have in cell editing turned on) you can click on a cell and give it a new value. I understand that this isn't the fluid encoder based change you want. The fx manipulation part of the console does need some additional tools. Part of the sacrifice of not having dedicated hardware is speed and ease of changing values.
  • Thank you,

i try tomorrow with a circle I'll try to turn it into an ellipse.

  • Giovanni,
If you are trying to make an ellipse you should play with the Hform or Vform If you increase one it will elongate the motion along that axis.
  • yes.. with console no problem, but with my mac with nomad i do not see Hform and Vform, where i wrong?? there is a short cut?

  • On Nomad: In Live, Hform and Vform are softkeys (under more softkeys) after you type [Effect][#][Enter]
