Using Built-In and USB network interface simultaneously (ION)

Is there any way to use the integrated ethernet interface for an sACN network setup, and then attach a USB ethernet interface for our board control network? We use an OSC based app for remote control as well as the ETC aRFR Classic app.

If not, is it safe to connect our sACN node into our board control network? It also gives network access to another desktop for sound/video control.

Thanks!

  • I too am looking at adding a second network to our old ION for a show control network. I know we have had a USB network adapter on our XP console in the past when the onboard completely died. Did this work because it was the only network? Or is it just a matter of changing settings in the BIOS to recognize the adapter? Pretty sure when this was done, it was an old, DVI split, motherboard. Unfortunately the console is to old to get the win7 upgrade.
