You can find the latest informations about OSC in the manual v3. The user ID is a value if the is no context. e.g. /eos/user/0/macro/fire=1 should work for firing macro 1 as a background user.

I am asking about the command that sets all the osc commands after that to a certain user. The source is Qlab. All other commands that are in the manual are working fine.

/eos/user=x should do that job but I can't ensure that this really works.

I would assume that this would only work for a TCP connection... I'd expect that you would need to preface all commands with /eos/user/x/ for all UDP messages... Not tested though!

I see no reason why there should be a difference between TCP or UDP

So my first OSC command from Qlab is:

/eos/user/99

Following commands

/eos/cue/1/fire

/eos/cue/2/fire

etc. 

work as the user that was set by the very first command. So no need to preface all the commands.

To set all commands to the default user, you can do a reset command.

My point was, that the manual gives the example: /eos/user=0 instead of /eos/user/0

Maybe the OSC documentation must updated. 

Using QLab /eos/user 99 should also work. In Qlab the argument is sperated with a space between the argument.
