Sub # off with RTC does not always work

Show Control RTC with Sub # off does not work if a fader with this subaster was manually set to 100%.
Only if Show Control RTC with Sub # on was used before, Sub # off will work later.
The direct console command Sub # out or Sub # AT #% always works, regardless of a fader with this subaster.
How can I guarantee that Show Control RTC with Sub # off also always works?

  • This must be happening because setting a sub value with the fader isn't the same as setting it with the button. The reason why your example fails isn't because of RTC or Show Control in general. Sub On is pressing the bump button, Sub Off is releasing it. Neither influence the fader.

You can also see this behavior without Show Control: Move the fader of a sub to full and then press and release the sub's bump button. The fader (and hence the sub's value) is still at full.
