a client for a 1 night show tomorrow wants to run lighting cues from my house Ion from their laptop via QLab.
(as the music track plays, it triggers the lighting cues)
I've never done this before.
Previously, I've consciously turned off all the network (OSC, SMPTE, sACN) inputs in Settings.
I've got a switch in FOH with my RFR transmitter connected to it, and I've connected Nomad and an RVI through the same switch previously.
what do I need to "enable" on the Ion?
will the ethernet addresses be a factor (between their laptop and my console) through the switch?
Thanks.
