Has anyone experimented with speech to text for EOS command line control? If so, what methods are you using?

I've had some success integrating with Apple's Homekit for direct action execution and Alexa for a more basic command line interaction. Both use OSC transmitted from a separate machine that handles the integration processing.
These have worked great for simple interactions, but would fall short of full text to speech command line control given the requirements for invocation.
I've not played around much with local speech to text processing yet, but there are several potential contenders depending on your programming language of choice.
