Is it possible to have Network events record into MIDI events?

I am currently using MIDI notes to activate submasters in EOS through Network show control (List 1) and would like to record the bumps/button presses into my MTC event list (List 2), however, it seems to ignore all of my inputs as they are being triggered by a Network show control Event list, rather than physical button pushes on the console. Any ideas?

  • I'm actually working on a show right now where this is part of my timecode workflow! I came up with a weird shortcut that works for me:

Eos doesn't seem to want to record any show control actions (cues, submasters, macros, etc) so I setup my midi note to fire macro 9000. Macro 9000 fires macro 9001, which is the macro which is my master cuelist go macro. If you do it while recording TC then it'll just save them as TC actions that trigger cues. I suppose you could get more granular with submasters and whatnot, but it would be kinda tedious in my experience.

I wish there was a way to automate recording timecode other than pressing go manually, but this was kinda the best solution I was able to come up with
