I am working on a show that consists of a bank of Ocean Optics SeaChanger units on one of the electrics. I would like to program effects that will change the color of certain SeaChangers repeatedly in a step effect. For example, I have 7 SeaChangers backlighting from stage right all the way to stage left. For one of the scenes in the show, they are all blue to start. I want to create an effect that will change the right-most one to red, then the next to red, then the next...and then all back to blue in that same sequence repeatedly until the next cue is called.
I've tried going into the effects editor on the Ion and doing a step effect and just changing the color parameters of the SeaChanger units for each step, but I'm getting the wrong color output when I do that and a few of the instruments actually just dim out completely.
Any help on how I can go about programming effects like this would be much appreciated. Thanks! :)
