Yes, use the syntax 2/xx.
I typically will first assign a range of console channels numbers (keep the terms clear, console channel, DMX address, not DMX channel), so say 6 MAC700's, I'll put them on channels 301-306, then assign type, then use the syntax "Ch's, 301, thru, 306, @ 2/1".
By setting the type before the address, the console then knows how many DMX address are needed per fixture and assigns them all correctly.
If you need to add a MAC 700, or whatever, you add the channel and type and use "Ch, 307, @, 2, /, Next. The desk knows what to do.
