Eos Fun Facts

The intent behind this post is to bring to light little known features of Eos and Ion.  The kind of stuff that you wouldn't necessary discover on your own.... that you'd have to read the manual to find (yea, yea) or that someone would have to tell you about.

Maybe you know some you'd like pass along!!

For example, did you know.....

That you can lock out the face panel on the desk by holding down [Clear] & [Escape] .... and unlock it the same way?

  • I am really excited about this easy method of lots of varied effects:

    1. Make an Intensity Palette 1 with all lights at full.

    2. Make an Intensity Palette 2 with all lights at 0.

3  Make an Absolute Effect with two Actions- Intensity Palette 1, and Intensity Pallete 2.

4  Make four or five copies of this effect, each with a diffferent Spread and/or Trail.

Now you can select any group of channels and have them do any of these effects.

I have six systems of thirty overheads and each of these effects create really cool patterns.

This also works with scrollers- Color Palette 1 (Frame 1) and Color Palette 2 (Last Frame).

    So Easy!
