This one is obvious but, Double hitting any record target, (Cue, Focus Palette, Color Palette, Beam Palette, etc.) will take you to the list that corresponds with those targets. 

Did you know that you can home your subs?  [Sub] [1] [thru] [9] [home] [enter] - will set additive subs to Zero and inhibs to full.

Hey that is cool!  I guess you can put times on it too?  Is there command for all Subs?

If you type sub 1 thru home enter you will get all subs.  You just leave out the final sub number.

The ability to sneak subs is in the upcoming 1.5 release.    That command will work with home as well.

If you build a custom scroll for your scroller encoder, you can use the Color Picker to choose frames.  Just pick any point on the spectrum and it will take you to the nearest match on your gel string. 

That sounds interesting. Where is that setting?

Prior to 1.9, you would access this just by not putting the keyboard in "scroll lock" mode.  Now, you do it by putting the keyboard in scroll lock.   Not possible on a Mac, as there is no scroll lock key.

Did you know that any manual control function (encoder movement, parameter tile selection, parameter category selection, [at], etc) while Record/Record Only/Update is still posted to the command line will automatically reselect your last channel selection?

In those views you can lock palettes from being mistakenly updated!

wish computers did that! once the shell, then aplication is launched could there be a percentage bar to indicate the progress. Just watching the same screen for a few minuites gets annoying. I have other programs that have a progress bar that directly relates to the chercksums built into the programming. Any time I have trouble they ask what the percentage of the bar was when the program failed tring to do what? They love have 'us' (the user) being able to tell them exactly what line in the programming failed.

This may be old news but was very exciting for me...

When we travel there is one venue in which I have to move all of my non-conventionals from the 2nd DMX universe to the third. Of course you could just go in and swap the universes but I wanted to see if I could actually "move" the information from one universe to the other, so I used the "move to" command:

Address 613 thru 668 {Move to} Address 1125 [enter],

which of course even though not specifed will fill in the entire range behind 1125, attributes and all :)

You can create your own customized fixture or channel symbols to use with Eos Magic Sheets.

I don't think anyone has posted this yet, but I was really excited when I figured out I was able to do this.  For busking on the Ion, I always found changing colours live was the hardest to do quickly, efficiently, and in a way that looked good, until I figured this out.  Instead of creating a submaster for intensity of a group of fixtures and have your colour palettes on direct selects or submasters, create a cue list where in each cue you have the intended group of fixtures at full, and in each cue set to a different colour palette.  Assign that cue list to a fader, and configure the fader as an intensity master, this allows you to use the two fader buttons to cycle through your colour palettes for that fixture, and the fader itself still controls the intensity for the group of fixtures.

I realize I'm a little late to the party on this topic. I've finally started playing around with custom symbols in for magic sheets and have got them working; thank you for that!

The symbols I've created only seem to scale evenly in both directions, unlike the stock rectangles and such which allow for separate scaling in the x and y (sometimes grip handles). Is there a way to get this ability in custom SVG files?
