Hi all
I have been approached to possibily look at co-ordinating and compiling a video cue stack to run on an Ion.
I am familiar with set up and am a medium scale user but I have never approached video with the ion and I am not sure how best to approach it. I am unaware of what the companies current set up is. They are transferring to the ion from another manufacturer.
Aside from set up, I am guessing that you would record the various video files as a mixture of palettes & presets, place in a virtual cue stack and use the main cue stack to trigger them. This seems to me most logical way and also the cleanest too.
Can the ion control video natively or does it require access an external media server i.e catalyst etc? I have read about the internal pixel mapper but have never used the function.
I would be grateful if anyone could shed some light on the subject.
Many thanks
Eamon
