aRFR really could use some fixing and an update.

Hey Gang,

I have been having a bit of trouble with the aRFR app.  after the last update, I am missing some functions.

I have a Sprint EVO 4GLTE with 4.0.3 ICS.

When I load the app, once upon a time,  it used to match the RFR menus.  I could hold down the [M] button and go into live, patch, channel check, patch, park, etc.  It essentially matched the hardware RFR menus and functionality... now I can get into  Channel Check and patch...and that's it.  Is there something I am missing?  Was taking away these functions intentional?

I also wonder if we will EVER see an update of the Droid Tablet RFR to match the capabilities of the Ipad version?  I know with ICS Android has fixed quite a few of the compatibility issues that were the holdup for a number of Droid apps.   In speaking with a rep recently, I have heard it is on  the To Do list, but who knows when.  Anywho, inquiring minds want to know.  Note taking inside the app would be invaluable to us as designers and even ME's/programmers.

  • Not to hijack the post, but I would absolutely love to have the ability to change the default mode that the aRFR starts in, so that every time I open the app I wouldn't have to change the mode from channel check to live or park.

    Thanks

I, too, rarely use Channel Check, and dislike having to go to "Live" mode 99% of the time.

That said, I think I picked up some where here in the forums, that, the question went out to vote what mode we want iRFR to boot up in.

I missed that posting and didn't get my vote in either. I think, in the future, it might be something we can individually program into our iRFRs.
