GIO Renumber cues

Hi All

Not sure if this is possible as I have tried flicking through the manual... But can you re number the cues in cue lists and how do you do this?

Thanks

  • Hello, It's quite easy actually.  You want to use "Move To" which is accessed by pressing "Copy To" twice.  It can take either a single cue or a range of cues.

    Cue 1 Move to 10.

    Cue 1 Thru 10 Move to 101 (Becomes 101-110)

  • At present as far as I'm aware you are unable to "renumber" a cue.

But like hydrogen has suggested you can move cues to different cue numbers which may work for you.

Be aware that using the example above if there was a Cue 9.2 it would move to Cue 109.2. The move functions just moves a single or group of cues to another place and holds there relationship with each other with respect to point numbers.

It wouldn't spread all the cues out so that they have whole numbers for instance like QLabs renumbering system which I guess you're after.

  • Can this be put on a feature list? The way the Hog does it is kind of nice. You just click Renumber and the cues all...well, they renumber.

I'll second this request! For such a sophisticated console I'm surprised you are unable to do this. I personally like how the Grand MA consoles handle renumbering.
