RFR with multiple devices

Had a question when it comes to the aRFR and the iRFR.  I have an android phone and have liked using it to aid in channel checks.  I have been contemplating buying an iPad as I have heard there are more features on the iRFR, specifically being able to follow along and take notes on the cues.  If I wanted to do this would I need to pay for two apps? or is there anything in the works to register the app to a person so I can have it on my two devices?

I'd also wonder when I upgrade my phone down the line will I need to purchase the aRFR app again?

  • When you purchase the Android version from the Google Play store, that purchase is good for all other downloads of that app made from the store, so you can download it to another device, and I have done that, having it on my phone and tablet.

    When you purchaser the iPhone/Touch/Pad version from Apple, you are buying a completely different app from a different vendor, thus you pay again.  I believe that should you purchase from the App Store, you can download it again for a different device free of charge.  The iRFR version is different and better, IMO then the aRFR version, so worth the extra $50.

    (Some features have come first in the iOS version.)

    The difference in the way you purchase them is that there is a free, time-limited aRFR download that you can use to check if it works properly on your Android device - as there are so many Androids that we cannot possibly test the application on them all.

    As Steve said, when you buy the full Android version you've bought it for your Google Play account and it'll work on any Android device linked to that same account.

    The same is true for the iOS version and your iTunes (or Apple? I forget the branding) account.
