EOS issues after the latest software upgrade

We're going into our first show after the latest upgrade. We have 2 problems:

 

1. mouse has stopped working

2. when we try to get into patch (using the patch button in the softkeys), the scroll lock button illuminates and kicks us right out of patch. This also seems to happen at other random times.It's been frustrating, to say the least, while trying to patch the show.

 

any ideas?
