Strange timing things

Two things that have been bothering me this week-

1. I have a handful of cues that were retimed, but their duration isn't reflecting the changes. For example, before the cue was a straight 10 seconds(5 seconds intensity up/down, followed by 5 seconds of FCB marking). I changed the FCB time to 2 which should change the duration to 7 and it seems to, in practice. The problem is the duration column in the PSD doesn't reflect this, so in Live Table, I see 5 seconds of intensity fades, 2 seconds of marking and 3 seconds of no values changing while duration continues it's countdown.

2. Whenever I have a cue that is both referenced and marked, I like to part it out so all intensity moves occur in part 1 and all marking occurs in part 20. I've now got a handful of part 20 cues that show intensity time, even though no intensities are actually moving in these parts.

Am I missing something in either instance? Ion 3k, running 1.9.11.

  • Have you double checked in Blind that you didn't accidentally add intensity fades to part 20.  I've made the mistake many times in the past of quickly editting cues in blind sitting in Part 20 instead of Part 1 and not realizing it.  (I part out my marks as well). Just a thought.

  • Not seeing any intensity moves anywhere. I'm also seeing it in non-parted cues now.

I'm starting to think it's a result of the mechanical dowser on the TW1s. They're not changing value at all, they sit open the whole show, but they still show as marking... Now that I'm typing it, that seems like it must be it, but it seems inconsistent to have them mark as NPs, while showing their timing as intensity...

Still no ideas regarding issue #1.
