As a console programmer in the Film and TV business, the Rem Dim function is very rarely useful, however it is potentially very dangerous as the blackout the whole soundstage button.
Another Lighting Console Programmer friend joking referred to Rem Dim as the "fire the Board Op" button.
Now to admit my neurosis: I live in fear that someone covering me, a pa mashes the button messing around, or god forbid I accidentally hit the button as i go to kill a channel and slip and hit the button above it.
So to that, I wonder if it would be possible to add the option to disable the Rem Dm button just as we have the "Disable Blackout" option.
Ideas?
