I've downloaded the EOS operating manual onto my laptop but when I try to open it, I'm asked to provide a password. Why is that? And what is the password?

Hi there.
That's very odd. Would you be able to retry the download and let us know what you find? There shouldn't be a password for it.
If you keep running in to it, would you be able to copy the link you're clicking on and email the pdf to hans <dot> hinrichsen <at> etcconnect <dot> com?
Thanks!

of course, this time I saved it and it opened without asking for a password. However, this was on my desk top. For some reason when I'm using my laptop, it asks for a password and, of course, I want it on my laptop; not much use it sitting on my desktop in my office.

Update: problem solved.
So, It seems I have Nitro PDF Pro on my laptop and this is the default program. If I force an OPEN WITH:, and use Adobe Reader, there isn't a problem.
