Sub levels are up when console turns on

I haven't figured out why this occurs but when I power up the Ion console, One particular sub level is a 100% with all faders at Zero.

This is Sub 1 that has been recorded as a normal fader HTP. Before powering down the console, all faders are at zero and Go to Cue "Out" has been executed. Nothing is being Outputted. Console is then shut down.

Additionally, I wanted to mention that the Wing does not shut down with the console. It stays powered up with the Ion Logo displayed. Shouldn't it shut off along with the console?

I'm running an ION with version 1.9.12 with a 2 x 20 Fader wing.

Thank you for any thoughts,

Julian

  • Hi Julian,

Have you tried resetting the subs in the command line before you shut sown?

[Sub] [1] [At] [Enter] will reset sub 1 to default level.

[Sub] [1] [Thru] [At] [Enter] will reset all subs -1 thru 260- to default level.

Is your wing plugged into the console with USB & a power supply or did you remove the bumpers & physically attach it.

If you're using cords, you need to power it down manually. If it is hard attached, an ETC tech will need to help, I've not attached mine that way yet.

Congrats on the Ion, my friend!

    Cheers,
