Sub levels are up when console turns on

I haven't figured out why this occurs but when I power up the Ion console, One particular sub level is a 100% with all faders at Zero.

This is Sub 1 that has been recorded as a normal fader HTP. Before powering down the console, all faders are at zero and Go to Cue "Out" has been executed. Nothing is being Outputted. Console is then shut down.

Additionally, I wanted to mention that the Wing does not shut down with the console. It stays powered up with the Ion Logo displayed. Shouldn't it shut off along with the console?

I'm running an ION with version 1.9.12 with a 2 x 20 Fader wing.

Thank you for any thoughts,

Julian

  • If the Wing is powered using an external PSU (wall-wart), then it will not switch off when the Ion is powered down, as it has an independent power supply.

If the Wing is physically docked/clipped to the side of the Ion, then it is powered from the Ion and will turn off when the Ion powers down.

    Note:
If the Wing is physically docked to the Ion, you must not use the external PSU or USB cable. Doing so can have unexpected results and may even damage the wing or console.
