How to make scrollers ignore block cues?

Hello,

I have an EOS with 1.9.12 software (even though this has been around during previous versions).

While writing a show, I would like my scrollers that are patched as a P2 on a channel to ignore the block cues.  Is there an option or way to make my scrollers not respond to the blocked cues while programming?

Right now the solution is a lot of [color] [at] [enter] commands.  A simple button in the patch attributes window to make that channel ignore the block cues would be the best solution.

If there is another way to think about how to make scrollers not block, that would be awesome to know.

  • In a multiple cue list environment, placing a block on ALL channels is not ideal.  That would end up blocking channels that may have nothing to do with the cue list in question.    But lets say you have a cue list using 20 channels.  And you put a block on cue 5.  If you later go back and add a channel in cue 1 that was not previously in the cue list, that channel WILL be blocked in Cue 5.  So you don't need to worry about tracking cue list additions into block cues.

    Hope that helps.
