Manual Global Mark?

Hello,

Running EOS 1.9.12.

My questions pertains to using manual marks in a cue list.  Without turning Auto-Mark on, is it possible to have any parameters changed within cues to mark back to the previous marked cue with out having to type in their channel numbers and telling it to mark in that cue?

Example:

Cue 1 is a manual mark, I move scrollers in 2, and different scrollers in 3.  I want those to automatically update the color back to the marked cue until another marked cue is referenced.

cue 1 - Marked

cue 2 -

cue 3 -

cue 4 - Marked

cue 5 -

If I turn Auto-Mark on, I cannot tell it where I want the marked cues to end up.  Does this make sense?

  • Hi,

If instead of telling the channel which cue you want it to mark in you simply type [1] [Mark] [Enter], when you record or update the cue (or straight away in Blind) it will mark in the previous mark cue in the list.

In your case, add a new scroller color in cue 2 and just mark that channel it will mark in cue 1. If you change the color again in cue 5 and tell the channel to mark it will mark in cue 5.

You can also use the modifier softkey {Earliest M} which will mark it in the earliest Mark cue it can.

    I hope that's a help.

    Dan
