i saw, that different fixture personalities have home values for Hue / Sat other than 0, but still CMY home values = 0. i guess, that's to account for different color temperatures, right?
i tried using the same method on scrollers. let's say one scroller is in front of a tungsten source and the other one in front of an HMI. let's assume, both scroller strings contain L130 and L201. i wanted to change the Hue home value of one of the two scrollers, so when i select both of them at the same time and use the gelpicker for L201, the tungsten source would use L201, but the HMI would stay open white, since the source itself is by definition already L201.
i know, adjusting the "centerpoint" of the colorpicker myself wouldn't give me perfect results, but i still think it could be an improvement. or maybe there could be different color temperature sources in the library that we could add as (dummy) parts to our fixtures to change the kelvin base of the color picker?
thx, ueli
