How to control Pixel segment...

I have some LED fixtures in 31 channel mode. The first three channels of control are mode, dimmer and strobe. From there the next 28 should control individual blocks of R, G, B, W. The current profile from ETC does not extend to allow control, so has anyone ideas (that they have tried) that would allow control?

The fixture deos have built in chases, but i'd like to see if I can program some of my own.

  • Try this-  make a custom fixture profile for the first three channels and use 7x Generic RGBW fixtures for the rest of the segments.  If you patch them in a logical order, it will make programming easy(ier).

    i.e.:

    • Channel 110 - custom control fixture for unit# 1
    • Channel 111 - RGBW first segment of unit # 1
    • Channel 112 - RGBW second segment of unit # 1...
    • to Channel 117 for the seventh segment of unit # 1
    • Channel 120 - custom control fixture for unit# 2
    • Channel 121 - RGBW first segment of unit # 2
    • Channel 122 - RGBW second segment of unit # 2...
    • to Channel 127 for the seventh segment of unit # 2

    etc.
