ion output MIDI Note

I have used an Ion to output Midi Show Control while the Ion was a Backup to another Ion, but also as a client on an Eos network.

I am not a MIDI expert, but I have done some MIDI with IONs. I am fairly certain the EOS family of consoles cannot output MIDI Notes but only does MSC.

midi notes has been added in 1.9.8 (?). eos family can output midi notes, my question is only to the constellation of output through an ion as a a backup desk.

This didn't work in the pass but it was a few years ago when I tried to use it so it may have changed!

I know that an Ion setup as a backup will not listen to MIDI. I don't know about outputting MIDI. The only 100% option I know if is a show control gateway.

i'm happy to announce, that an Ion that is Backup to an Eos Master will output MIDI Notes through the Local MIDI Connectors!
