building profiles?

Anyone have any tips on building a profile for some old High End Cyberlights SV's?

  • Hey there.... can you let us know what you need?  From the fixture library, you can select "Custom", which allows you to build your own profiles.   Take a look at that and ping us if you need any help.

    Hope this helps,

  • Thanks Anne,

I have been to the fixture library and touched on the custom settings but I did not spend a lot of time trying to figure it out.  It was my first show on the EOS and we were running 8 cybers, scrollers, Martin atomic strobes, and Apollo rotators, plus building effects,  so I was a little overwhelmed.  I guess I was just looking for some pointers on how to build profiles or maybe how to edit the existing cyber profile.  I work at the Tennessee Perfoming Arts Center with Brent, who has become a regular here on the forum, and he has been working with the console and cybers all week.  He says he has made some progress on building a profile for our specific cybers and I know he has been on the phone with tech support, so we are getting closer to having the profile we need.

Also, I just want to say that the EOS is AWESOME!  I have only gotten to program a couple of shows so far, but I love what I have seen so far.  Thanks for making such a great console!

  • So I should write in here after I discovered it today.  As of 1.3, when you create a new fixture and want to add a channel under a "Control" Parameter, don't, they're not working properly.  Pick something you'd be happy with under Image or Form for your control parameters (like Macro under Form).  You'll find that if you try to add a Control Parameter, it wont show up on the Encoders.
  • and to add to this it wont display in About under Controls either.

FYI: There should be something released some time soon that will describe some recommended practices for creating Profiles in Eos.
