Midi Tutorial

I have no problem understanding DMX and all its complexities but I must confess I've never been able to wrap my head around MIDI. I'd love to be able to learn how to implement triggering of, and by consoles to/from other MIDI compliant equipment. I've looked at other posts regarding MIDI on the forum but I'm pretty sure they're written in Klingon. Think someone over there at ETC could put together a MIDI video tutorial?

    i suggest, you read that, it explains Midi Show Control (MSC) quite good. but you have to be aware, that such a thing as MIDI doesn't exist. there are plenty of different MIDI protocols, such as Midi Notes, Midi Show Control, Midi Time Code. if you know which one you want to know about, write me a PM and i'll tell you a bit about it.
