How would i create a spinning gobo effect that i could put on a sub to turn on and off on the Ion Console?

How would i create a spinning gobo effect that i could put on a sub to turn on and off on the Ion Console?
Kind of hard to answer unless we know what fixture and/or gobo rotating unit you might be using.
If a moving light, does it have the ability to rotate a gobo ?. If so, run up the look on the ML, then capture it on a sub, set the sub to Intensity Master (Sub,.Sub), then "mark" the effect by pressing the bump button and add the fader for intensity.
If a gobo rotator in an S4, does it have DMX control for speed and/or direction ?.
