Sub Fixtures

Programming a gio, how do you access control of seperate cells of a fixture for example a pixel line 110, it is set and patched in mode 20+E which should give control of RGBA 5 times plus 7 channels of effects but cant seem to figure how to control each cell individually.

Any clues?

Patch each cell as a separate fixture and build a custom fixture for the 7 effects channels assuming you want to use them.

is it realy not doable from the personality in the desk? seems hard to believe thats not possible

AFAIK, the current paradigm for a channel does not support independent control of multiple cells. There's no such thing as a fractional channel. The fixture library will let you patch it as 20+E but you will only get a single intensity and color parameter.

Programming it as 5 or 6 separate channels will give you the independent control and still let you run effects.
