ion to control generico mac 101 clone?

Hi I got a generico led mover - just like a mac101 from bml inc. They say it programs like a mac101. well.... I tried every mac profile and every dmx setting in the led fixture. I have yet to get both color and focus control at the same time. mostly i get focus without being able to change color.

Is there a profile for this fixture?

I can't find anything in the fixture release notes. Is there a DMX chart somewhere that would help you figure out what fixture profile comes closest to matching? Are you sure you don't have a cable or addressing problem?

Hi,

The answer was rather simple. From my ETC rep I got the profile for generico 8 ch control. They had a 12 channel control but i think it is incomplete. This profile selects colors on the color picker, but does not have the individual color wheels....yet. I'm not a the console now, but I think it have saturation and intensity as dials. I do not know what they actually do.

I was told that one of those mac101 profiles should work. I just could not find the magic combination.

Oh by the way I had the generico and the mac101 dmx plot side by side when I was doing this. They are both downloadable from the internet.
